That’s right… we’ve got a bunch of new guests confirmed for our February 2025 convention, Gallifrey One in 35 Millimetre!  Check out all the details below (and while we might have a couple more guests to announce beyond this, though this announcement marks the point where the vast majority of who you will be seeing at this year’s convention have been announced.)

Alex Macqueen

Alex Macqueen is a BAFTA nominated actor who has portrayed an incarnation of the Master for Big Finish Productions since 2012, in their main Doctor Who range as well as in the Dark Eyes, UNIT: Dominion and Masterful series, amongst others.  He is best known to British audiences for his roles in the Channel 4 comedy The Inbetweeners and the BBC’s The Thick of It.  His television credits include Hunderby, Sally 4 Ever, This is England 88, Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror, Becoming Elizabeth and Hijack, as well as guest appearances in Peep Show, Miranda, Outnumbered and The IT Crowd.  His film credits include Paulo Sorrentino’s Youth, Kenneth Branagh’s All is True, Jesse Armstrong’s Downhill and the film version of Downton Abbey.  He will soon star opposite Helena Bonham Carter in Agatha Christie’s The Seven Dials Mystery for Netflix and Richard Curtis’ animated That Christmas.

Miles Richardson

Miles Richardson is one of the busiest actors in Britain, who has played the role of Cardinal Braxiatel – later known as Irving Braxiatel – for twenty years in Big Finish’s Doctor Who audio series, the Gallifrey and Bernice Summerfield audios and other ranges, among many other voiceover roles including such games as Final Fantasy and Hour of Victory.  He has appeared in over seventy plays in both the West End and other venues, including five years with the Royal Shakespeare Company.  His many film & TV roles include The Crown, Outlander, The Canterville Ghost, Peterloo, Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone, Dirk Gently, Upstairs Downstairs, Highlander, Cambridge Spies, Doctors, Titanic, Midsomer Murders, Allo Allo and Solo: A Star Wars Story. After repeated attempts in the past, we’re thrilled to finally welcome him to Gallifrey One.

Lisa Greenwood

Lisa Greenwood is best known for playing Phillippa “Flip” Jackson, companion to Colin Baker’s Sixth Doctor in twenty Doctor Who audio dramas from Big Finish Productions, a role she recently returned to after an absence of several years.  She appeared as Sissy Cooper for two series of the Golden Globe and BAFTA nominated series The Hour alongside Ben Whishaw and Dominic West, and has appeared in several BBC and Channel 4 sitcoms Call the Midwife available on Netflix, as well as Hacks with Claire Foy and Celia Imrie, the BBC TV movie Killed By My Debt, and on television in EastEnders, Casualty, The Bill, and Capsule.  Last with us in 2019, we are delighted to welcome her back in 2025.

Safiyya Ingar

Safiyya Ingar is an actor and voiceover artist from London, best known to Doctor Who fans for portraying Valarie Lockwood, companion to the Eleventh Doctor (as played by Jacob Dudman) in Big Finish Productions’ audio series.  Ingar’s film and television work includes playing Keira Metz in Netflix’s The Witcher, as well as Doctors, Summer of Rockets, Layla, What’s Love Got To Do With It? and Inappropriate Behavior.  In 2020 they were given the opportunity to be mentored by esteemed voice actress Alix Wilton Regan (CyberPunk 2077, Mass Effect 3) and has since embarked on a career in voice acting for video games and animation. Some of their current credits include Taika in Square Enix’s Valkyrie Elysium, Elga in Another Eden; The Cat Beyond Time and Space, various NPCs and bosses in Blizzard’s Diablo IV, and Sai in Red Thread Games and Quantic Dreams’ latest IP, Dustborn.  Along with acting work, Saffiya streams on Twitch as safiyyaingame.

Andy Lane

Writer Andy Lane was born seven months before Doctor Who was first broadcast, and both his personal and professional life have been tied up with it ever since. He has written three Virgin New Adventures, one Virgin Missing Adventure, one BBC 8th Doctor novel, a Torchwood novel, ten Big Finish audios and four BBC Eighth Doctor audios (with a fifth one planned). He has been married for 35 years to a woman he met at a Doctor Who garden party (and who played Barbara Wright in an audio adaptation of the first chapter of David Whitaker’s 1964 novel ‘Doctor Who in an Exciting Adventure With the Daleks’ released this year by the Vworp, Vworp fanzine). His New Adventures companion Chris Cwej has recently gained a new lease of life in a series of books from Arcbeatle Press. In unrelated news, his Young Sherlock Holmes series of YA novels is currently being filmed by Amazon Prime Video, with Guy Ritchie directing the first few episodes.

Charlie Hayes

Charlie Hayes is a British actress known for her TV, film and audio work. She is the daughter of actress Wendy Padbury (Zoe) and actor Melvyn Hayes.  She has appeared in multiple Doctor Who audio dramas for Big Finish Productions, including Master and Annihilation, as well as the 2008 audio adaptation of the stage play Doctor Who and the Seven Keys to Doomsday, in which she played Jenny, the part originally played on stage by her mother.  She also appeared alongside Wendy in the audios The Memory Cheats, The Uncertainty Principle and Lords of the Red Planet.  Charlie has also appeared as Ruth Wycliffe in Wycliffe and Kate in Crossroads as well as roles in Looking for Victoria  and Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock Heart.

The Cast & Crew of Big Finish’s VamPD

In a special event coordinated with Big Finish Productions, we are delighted to welcome the cast and select crew members from Big Finish’s new vampire-themed audio drama series VamPD. Join us on Saturday morning for a special panel with our guests about this new original audio series, after which each guest will be signing at the Big Finish autograph tables in our Dealers Room (next to Alien Entertainment).  Additionally, Ms. Landau will also be with us for autographs on Friday.

Juliet Landau

Juliet Landau is best known for playing vampire vixen Drusilla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer & spin-off Angel, as well as the third incarnation of Romana in Big Finish’s Gallifrey audio series.  Her credits include Ed Wood, Theodore Rex, Bosch and its upcoming sequel Bosch Legacy, and Claws. She is currently hosting Slayin It, the first-ever Buffy rewatch podcast with a member of the cast, and her feature film directorial debut A Place Among the Dead premiered this past October with Gary Oldman, Ron Perlman, Robert Patrick, Lance Henriksen and Anne Rice.

Mara Wilson

Mara Wilson first became known for her childhood roles in the popular films Mrs. Doubtfire alongside Robin Williams and Danny DeVito’s film Matilda.  Since then, she has continued to act, as well as become a writer and award-winning audiobook narrator, with appearances in Bojack Horseman (as Jill Pill), a Doubtfire-inspired episode of Broad City, as Liv/Di Amara in Big Hero 6: The Series and Helluva Boss, as well as a recurring role on the popular podcast Welcome to Night Vale and her own storytelling show called What Are You Afraid Of? 

Alimi Ballard

Alimi Ballard is known as Special Agent David Sinclair on CBS’s Numb3rs, as Kevin Clay in Peacock’s young adult drama One Of Us is Lying, Netflix’s Queen of the South, and Dr. Robert Dubois on Queen Sugar from Oscar-nominated filmmater Ava DuVernay, as well as the Shondaland drama The Catch, and three seasons as Detective Kevin Crawford on CBS’s CSI.  He also appeared in Fast Five, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, NCIS, Dark Angel and the sitcom Arsenio
