Michelle Greenidge

Michelle Greenidge became well known to Doctor Who fans as Carla Sunday, adoptive mother to companion Millie Gibson’s Ruby Sunday in the latest series of Doctor Who.  She is known to audiences for roles including as Valerie in the Netflix comedy-drama After Life, Lola Okonedo Akimbo in the BBC Two comedy Mandy, PC Williams in Code 404, Rosa Babatunde in the Russell T. Davies-penned drama It’s a Sin, the Tacita in Netflix’s Kaos, and MP Sarah Bryon in the BBC Radio 4 soap The Archers.  Her extensive credits also include Venus vs. Mars, The Intent, The Intent 2: The Come Up, Casualty, Doctors, Timewasters, I May Destroy You, The Witchfinder and My Happy Ending, as well as an extensive theater career.  Ms. Greenidge will be with us on Friday and Saturday, courtesy Showmasters Events.

Blair Mowat

Blair Mowat is an award-winning composer, best known for the music for the Doctor Who spinoff Class, later creating the music for the Class audio range from Big Finish Productions (as well as writing two scripts for the range, “Queen of Rhodia” and “Secret Diary of a Rhodian Prince”) and every episode of the company’s Torchwood audio series.  He’s worked on over two hundred scores for film, theatre, and television, with clients ranging from the BBC to the Royal Shakespeare Company. In 204, he was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Original Score for Nolly, starring Helena Bonham Carter, and written by current Doctor Who showrunner Russell T. Davies.  He has also frequently collaborated with Mark Gatiss, including scoring Ghost Story for Christmas, The Amazing Mr. Blunden and The Blind Man.  He’s also written music for Doctor Jekyll, McDonald & Dodds, The Flood and Black Dog.  This is Blair’s second visit to Gallifrey One.

John Dorney

Writer and actor John Dorney has written, script-edited or acted in more than a hundred of Big Finish’s Doctor Who stories and spin-offs, both the main series featuring all of the regular Big Finish Doctors as well as episodes of UNIT, Missy, Diary of River Song, Robots, Donna Noble: Kidnapped, Lady Christina, Jago & Lightfoot and Dalek Universe, as well as working on many other ranges such as Torchwood, The Omega Factor, The Avengers, Sapphire and Steel, and Survivors. His story Absent Friends won a BBC audio drama award in January 2017, and his plays The Red Lady and Iterations of I won the Scribe Award for audio. He won the BBC Show me the Funny and Sketch Factor competitions, and has written and performed for the National Theatre, The Royal Court Theatre, Soho Theatre and BBC Radio 4. This is John’s third visit to Gallifrey One.

Nigel Fairs

Nigel Fairs is an actor, writer, director, composer and producer who has worked with Big Finish Productions over many years, including producing their Sapphire and Steel and Tomorrow People ranges, as well as scripts for multiple Doctor Who stories, including “The Blue Tooth,” “The Catalyst” and “Empathy Games”.  Prior to his work with Big Finish, Nigel was a regular writer and director for BBV Productions (and appeared in their spinoff video Zygon: When Being You Just Isn’t Enough.)  His stage work includes productions of My Gay Best Friend, co-written with Louise Jameson, and in his own award-winning play In Conversation with an Acid Bath Murderer, as well as two audio podcast dramas, The Pogley Wood Murders and Moira Moments.  A long-time friend of Gallifrey One, Nigel returns after a stunning 13 year absence, to join us at this year’s festivities!
